Our online ordering service is hosted on a secure-server, so you can be confident that when you send your details they will be held in a safe environment. Once our order has been processed the details are permanently removed from the website.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information we collect about you to process your orders and keep you up to date of new products and special promotions. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.
Delivery Promise
All orders are normally despatched to the delivery address that you supply within 10 days of receipt. If an item is temporarily unavailable for any reason or has a longer lead time, then you will be notified of the revised despatch date and given the opportunity to cancel your order. The Africa House use Royal Mail first class postage up to 2KG in weight. In the UK any orders in excess of 2kg’s will be sent by DHL 48 hour service unless you specifically request an alternative means of delivery. Your credit card will be debited prior to despatch of your order.

- 750g to 900g - £4.00
- 900g to 1.1kg - £4.95
- 1.1kg to 1.3kg - £5.95
- 1.3 kg to 1.5kg - £6.85
- 1.6kg to 1.8 kg - £7.50
- 1.8kg to 2kg - £8.30
- 2KG to 28KG £12.50
* DHL delivers parcels to UK mainland addresses up to 2 working days from dispatch. For Northern Ireland and all other UK Isle addresses 3/4 working days.
Delivery to countries other than the UK will have to be quoted for delivery. We will contact you prior to delivery to ensure you are happy with the cost and if not you will be able to cancel the order at that stage.
Supply of Goods
It should be noted that many of the items sold by The Africa House Limited are handmade. We will make every effort to ensure that the goods viewed on the website closely reflect those that are purchased by you. However, please bear in mind that each item purchased is unique and may differ slightly from the advertised product.
If you are not happy with your purchased goods we will exchange these or provide you with a full refund.
Due to the nature of our product range we are unable to guarantee the availability of products. If an item is no longer available, then you will be notified and given the opportunity to choose an alternative item or cancel your order.
Pricing
The price you pay is the price shown in the checkout section of our website at the time you place your order. If an error in pricing occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Returns
We accept the return of all items only if they are returned within 14 days and in their original packaging and condition. Under these circumstances we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. You will be responsible for the cost of the postage to return the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds will only be given after the returned item has been received and inspected. It is recommended that you use registered post or recorded delivery when returning goods.
